so. i’ve made some amazing new friends in my wedding couple deepa and john. it feels like i’ve known them for years already. they are truly wonderful people, with contagious smiles and great energy. their wedding is today, so i’m just going to post a quick little note here, but i thought it was an amazing honor (and a little nerve racking pressure) that deepa asked me to do her henna on her feet yesterday. ????wow!!!! there is a lot of trust there, but through my shaking hands and newly found love and addiction of henna and doodling designs, i managed to make up some sort of a creation. deepa was amazingly encouraging, and luckily she likes my doodles. it’s not really traditional henna designs, but it’s definitely a unique acire creation – (that would be a backwards erica creation). anyway, hope everyone is finding their creative outlets and loving life – otherwise I’d say try and play with a little henna – it’s really fun, temporary and permanent enough to make a statement but not an unforgiving, lasting one. and thank you, deepa, for sharing your henna, encouragement and good energy with me. you are like a new best friend that i am so lucky to have in my life! :) happy wedding day!
